Thank you for the replies TFalke55 and dekojester.
I'm certainly not the fastest driver in LFS, so I try to get out of the way of the leaders as soon as I can.
I like this sim a lot, and I'm just trying to do more short to medium length races.
Cheers
p.s. Am I required to use a specific skin or number plate template? Be patient with me, this is only the 2nd time I've signed up for race like this and some organizations have different requirements of the racers. tyvm

If it says "false", change it to "true".
Are you running other insim apps at the same time as lfsrelax? I tried to run that Setupgrid app to download setups while in multiplayer, but it messed up my lfsrelax when I tried to use it. So having another insim app running might be the problem. I don't know.
If the Fuel Display is working in Singleplayer, it should work in Multiplayer. So you get a blank fuel display when you start up your LFS?
I start lfsrelax, then I start lfs and type /insim 29999. Then I connect to a multiplayer server, everything works fine.
The only problem is that sometimes when there is a track change or something during a multiplayer session I need to close lfsrelax and restart it to get everything working again. I don't have to type /insim 29999 again, just restart lfsrelax. Then the fuel display starts working again.
The pitspotter is now incorporated into LFSRelax like SilverArrows77 said. And yes, it works. I use it all the time. Just click the link in SilverArrows77's post. Then read about it there. There are a lot of posts there of people that had problems, but there are also answers to those problems if you read enough posts.
Just a question I was wondering about. I am using the LFS Hi-Res Pack, if I install patch Z10 will that get rid of the Hi-Res Pack? Or, can I copy my dds files until I install Z10, then paste them back in? Just curious.
I really like your soundpacks, thanks for doing those. Now that I've buttered you up , I noticed the updated soundpacks don't sound as good...sorry for being blunt. Could it have something to do with the previous soundpack? I didn't delete the sounds from the earlier set before adding the new sounds. Also, I noticed that when I click Load - then click on (eg) XFG_Gills - then click ok, it shows as default at the top of the Shift-A window. I tried several times to get the Gills sound to stick, but it keeps reverting to default.
So I deleted the earlier soundpack and tried again...same result.
Anyone have any ideas, because I like Gills' sounds, and this is not a post trying to bash his work. Something just went wrong I guess.
So what you guys are saying is that automatic gearbox should not even be an option in LFS.? What about people that are disabled that like to race in LFS, but can ONLY do that by using auto gearbox? Do you mean that if people with a disability can't use a manual shift, then we shouldn't be trying to race in LFS? If that's so, then there are probably more people than you think that will not be able to race in LFS anymore if auto gearbox is disabled, or limited to 1 or 2 cars. Effectively, it means that they paid for something that they will no longer be able to use. Is that your GRAND plan???
Sorry for the rant. Reading this thread struck a nerve.
I keep getting this window when I try to use Join2lfs. I use Firefox 3.0.3, and I applied the changes in options as Ripley suggested. Still no luck. I can join a server from the lfs multiplayer screen or by typing the server if I know it. It just doesn't work using Join2lfs.
Gai-Luron, I'm noticing that while using LFSRelax v1.52 with the Test Patches the laps for "fuel remaining" are either jumping up & down every lap, or it doesn't show up at all. Any ideas?
Please excuse me if I seem a little bit dense Gai-Luron. Do you mean that my problem is because I pasted the config file from X10 to X30? I compared both config files, and I don't see what you are telling me to do.
Sorry for not understanding. Could you maybe take a screenshot so I have something to go by?
Thank you.
Edit: Nevermind Gai-Luron, I did a fresh install of LFSRelax and modified the config file instead of pasting the one from X10, now it works just like it should. One question though, was the 1.52 version supposed to add a digital speedo to the screen? I saw it in the config file, and it is set on "true", but no digital speedo.
I've been trying to get the LFSRelax v1.52 to work in the X30 patch, but I keep getting this screen when I start up LFSRelax.
I use the LFSRelax v1.50 in X10 with no problems. Any ideas of how I can fix this? I know it has to be something simple to fix. BTW, I am typing "/insim 29999" before starting LFSRelax.
edit:
I just noticed that there wasn't a skin for the XRG. Could you do just one more skin for me? If not, I understand. You have done me a huge favor making the skins for me.
I don't know, I thought I did. Now you make me question that. Tell you what, whatever skins you can do for me is ok with me, I can always use a stock skin or just one of the color choices. I'm just grateful that you did this much for me.
flymike91, those are the skins I'm looking for. I would like to have skins for the other cars too, but any skins you could make would be greatly appreciated. FZR & FXR if you could do those also. But I'll be happy with what I can get.
